Our second Lunch and Learn will be held from Noon- 1:00 pm on Wednesday, December 14, in the Gold Room at the Baranof.  Our Speaker is Josie Bahnke, Director of the Alaska Division of elections. Buffet Lunch $17. Bring a friend with you to enjoy meeting other League members and learn about our state's election systems.

Monthly Board meetings are open to all LWVJ members. They are held in the large conference room at the downtown Library.  Questions about attending or the agenda?  Call carolyn Brown (LWVJ President) at 364-2726 or Judith Mitchell (LWVJ Secretary) at 419-5034.

The Regular Assembly meetings are usually held twice a month on Monday's, from 7pm until finished. Sometimes they end quite late.  You can find the meeting agenda online on the CBJ website.

Please join Juneau LWV members, and so many others in our community, to remember and celebrate the remarkable life of Dr. George Brown who died unexpectedly on December 14. The gathering will take place at Northern Light Church, beginning at 2:00pm.
