Every two years, delegates from state and local LWVs convene in a Convention to do the national organization's business: Elect the Board of the LWVUS, adopt a LWVUS budget, modify bylaws,  consider and adopt a program for study and action, share ideas, and attend workshops. Judith Mitchell will attend as delegate for the Juneau LWV.

The Annual Municipal Candidates' Forum (Assembly and School Board candidates) will be held at KTOO, in the @360 room, beginning at 6:30 pm on Thursday, September 20.  This will be broadcast live and also available online afterwards.

This is the day to help organize voter registration drives.  October 7 is the last day to register for the November general election.  If you can help register voters (we can get you trained) contact Bridget Smith at 209-0025
